The growth in senior population has proven to be a challenge and those numbers continue to rise. We are 100% privately funded and receive no government funds, making addressing that higher need even more challenging. With the climbing numbers in the elderly, Meals on Wheels Spokane has committed to likewise increase our revenue in order to feed all our seniors and avoid any delays in service. This commitment means we are looking at new ways to involve local businesses in our organization by expanding our sponsorships to include corporate levels. Our expansive volunteer connections and relationships in the community organically create opportunities for businesses to spread their brand and message.
